Is OUTLINQ Free to Use?
Yes. OUTLINQ users can sign up for a free account and use OUTLINQ to locate and review quality, supportive businesses. There is no fee for using OUTLINQ, for signing up, or for any of the features available to the user community.
Why Should I as a Business Owner Consider Sponsoring or Advertising on OUTLINQ?
The LGBT market represents an attractive market valued at over $830 billion in annual spending by members of the community. LGBT community members prefer to use supportive and quality businesses vs. non-supportive businesses. OUTLINQ provides your business or service with the means to reach the members of the LGBT community with your marketing message, while also showing your support for the LGBT community and it's quest for equality.
What are the Advertising or Sponsorship Options Available on OUTLINQ?
OUTLINQ provides any supportive business with a free basic listing at no charge. You can select to increase your business visibility and content on our site through a selection of enhanced listing options, each higher level providing more content, images, video and information about your business on the site. You can also choose from a variety of affordable banner ads and the ability to promote events on our site. We also have plans to launch a classifieds section where you can feature select business offerings, products or employment opportunities. How Do I Sign Up for a User Account?
To sign up for a free user account as a member of the LGBT community, you simply go to the "SIGN UP" feature located on the site heading navigation (top right of the page) and choose to sign up. You can use an existing facebook account, or Google account to login, or you may elect to use the standard "Email Address" option to sign up. Enter a few pieces of user information - and your account will be created. You can then edit your personal profile to tell others in the OUTLINQ community about you.
Do I Have to Register to Use OUTLINQ?
OUTLINQ currently allows visitors to browse and use OUTLINQ without having a registered user account. However, to use the REVIEW feature to share your experiences with business services on OUTLINQ, you must register for an account, and then login prior to reviewing a business.
I Can't Find My Favorite Business on OUTLINQ to Share a Review
OUTLINQ is in the process of building a nationwide network, and it will take a community of users to help us identify quality and supportive businesses that should be featured on OUTLINQ. If you have visited a business or have a favorite business that you believe should be listed on OUTLINQ, then use the SUGGEST feature to provide us with a little bit about the business (Name, Location, Etc.) and we will very quickly add the essential business information to the site. We welcome your input and suggestions.
My Account is Locked Out - What Do I Do to Unlock It?
OUTLINQ takes security and protection of your information seriously. If you attempt to access your OUTLINQ account and type in an incorrect password 5 times, the OUTLINQ account will be locked for 1 hour. Simply wait for an hour and attempt to sign in again, use the "Forgot Password" feature, or the Contact Us form and we'll be happy to assist in resetting your account.
What Happens if I Forget My OUTLINQ Password?
If you forget your password, please click on the 'Forgot your Password?' link on Login page of OUTLINQ or on the sponsor login page. The password recovery email will be sent to the email address provided from your Contact Information. The email will contain a link which will redirect you to the OUTLINQ 'Manage Account' section, where your password can be updated.
Can I Change My Password?
Yes. After you are logged in to OUTLINQ, click on the 'Account Settings' link, where you will see the "Current Password" field,. Type your current password in this field and your new password on the fields "Password" and "Retype Password", then hit the submit button. Your password will be updated to your new specified selection.
Am I Required to be Registered to Add Items to the Site?
Yes. In order to add any business listing, event or to add banner advertising - including Free Basic Listings to OUTLINQ, you must have a sponsor account.
How Does the Sign Me In Automatically Feature Work?
The "Sign me in automatically" is optional, it saves your username and password on your computer and every time you access the OUTLINQ page you will be automatically logged in to the site.
